When -94- an aircraft, the -95- navigates and steers it first by compass or an indication from a ground radio navigation system and then checks this by a glance at his search -96-. If there are dark and heavy clouds, the pilot often moves the aircraft to a higher altitude in order to give room for clear -97-. Similarly, when a storm occurs, the aircraft goes higher to avoid it. But if a pilot suddenly runs into a stormy weather and has poor visibility such that the chances of trouble are increased or if there is any mechanical fault or shortage of fuel in the aircraft, he will have to attempt -98- landing which may result into -99-. When this occurs, a small aircraft or -100- may be used in rescuing survivors.
